Join D&F at ACNW for our popular Speed Gaming session, where we bring gamers together!

What to Expect:
Dive into a variety of quick, easy-to-learn party games. You'll be randomly assigned to a game with a group, where you'll have 5 minutes to play and get to know each other. When time's up, you'll move on to a new game with a fresh group, ensuring you meet new faces and experience different games each round.

It's the perfect blend of rapid-fire gaming and socialising, and we can't wait to share this fantastic icebreaker with you!

The Immersive Board Game Experiences have been a hit at the D&F Weekender events, and now you can join D&F at ACNW for a taste of the fun!

Step into the pavilion and let Sam's creativity transport you to a 1920s manor house, where Mr. MacDowell has gathered a group of eminent mediums for an extraordinary séance. Can you make contact with the spirit residing in the house and unlock the grisly mystery of its murder?

Experience the hit game Mysterium like never before. This session promises to be a feast for the senses and an unforgettable adventure!

Hot Ones Q&Aaaaargh!

Spectate as members of the Dice Tower team take on the Hot Ones challenge, whilst being interrogated answering questions from Ben Maddox of Five Games for Doomsday.

They’ll work their way through 9 sauces that get increasingly more spicy, including the oft-feared ‘Da Bomb’. Come along and watch to see how they fare, and learn a bit more about them and their careers in board gaming.

Sporadic Quiz

The Dice Tower team take on the audience in a quiz battle of cross cultural knowledge and wits (plus a few questions about board games).

Belgian Beer Tasting with Mark

Journey through the gamut of Belgian beer with Mark, sample various styles, including some weird and wonderful brews.

Root 2 - An Irrational Root Tournament
Sat, 10am | Exchange Hall | FREE, pre-registration required

A two round tournament. 4 games of 4 players, winners of round 1 will play at a winners table for ultimate champion and a chance to win a $100 voucher for the Leder Games web-store. Everyone else is welcome for round two as other prizes will be on offer throughout the tournament.

We will be playing ADSET with all factions in play.

A root-torial will be offered at 10-10:30 for new players should they wish to join.

Unmatched Tournament
Sun, 11am | Exchange Hall | FREE, pre-registration required

A 16 player bracket tournament for Unmatched.

Each player will be randomly assigned two characters at the start of the tournament and will take the character their opponent did not use if victorious, for use in future match ups. You won’t be able to use the same character twice so plan wisely.

Prize for the ultimate champion.

Open to new and experienced players alike.

THE CROKINOLE “22”

Meeplewood will be running a round robin tournament at ACNW on Saturday.

Two pools, one at 10.30am, the second at 1.30pm (please only enter one of them!), with finals starting at 3.30pm.

Come along to test your flicking skills! Experienced players and first-timers welcome. Booking essential. Boards are provided by Meeplewood.

Ages 16+, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Prizes are available and entry is FREE!

Two Thin Coats Paint & Take
10am-6pm | Exchange Hall | FREE

Come and join the professional artists from Trans Atlantis Games for a free Paint and Take in the Exchange Hall! Suitable for seasoned veterans or those beginning their painting hobby journey.

You will be guided through painting a miniature using the Two Thin Coats Paints, designed with the help of the Duncan Rhodes Painting Academy and you'll get to take your completed mini away with you!

45 minute Sessions can be booked on the hour on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Paint and Take area in the Exchange Hall.
